Been away, drinkin' lots...

So it's been a busy month and a bit over at work and just in general.
House sittin' now with a smelly, arthiritic, 15 year-old dog with cataracts (not the boat) until the first, which is good since it's almost over. So I haven't been drinking much wine, except for:

J. Lohr Bramblewood Zinfandel

(Don't remember the vintage on this one) Had a really nice open nose with lots of fruit and dried roses. It also had some really nice mouthfeel when sipped with some delicious fruit and a clean finish.
Tasty!

Labatt 50

Don't discount 50 at all. It may be the beer your old man drinks, but I know why he drinks it. Good body, not like some thin beers like Bud or some some of those pail Belgiams (which I do like, but don't love) and great taste like good beer should. 1st place Summer beer.

Yup, short an' sweet!

hey i love the labatt 50 review. you know you just can't discount old man beer. There's a reason why they've stood the test of time. Here's to Labatt 50, Standard, Club and OV!!

But seriously though, how are things on the Hotel Whiskey front? We need to get some jams happening for those two weeks that i'm back in July. Of course there is folk fest but i'm talking about the classic porch light or basement sessions complete with the copious amounts of wine, herbs and good sounds!!

Huzah!!
